The steaks are sensational. If you want to splurge on a meal and enjoy an aged sirloin then definitely come here. We found the service a little bit slow and forgetful for our experience but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. I’m a sucker for shoe string fries so come here just to have these with a nice gin and tonic.

The dinning experience I have had in a while. Lovely setting, right level of services, solid wine list and perfect food. We started with oysters and tuna cones, then bone marrow which went perfect with the sourdough bread and the smoke butter! Shared a rib eye accompanied with the duck fat potatoes and carrots, we also got the cucumber salad which was nice but could have done without

Had lunch here on Sunday with high expectations.....the manager on duty was Samantha (ex Victor Churchill) who remembered us and made our experience even better by organising a b-day sweet treat for my wife which was nice and very thoughtful. The service was great , the place looks very good with a really nice bar and glassed wine wall. Very impressive. The food is really good. Apparently they source their meats from Vics Meats as alot of high end restaurants do... Steaks were very good but i would say slightly less marbling in mine than expected for a 9+ steak and my wife had the premium eye fillet cooked well done but also just slightly less flavour than we are use to at Victors... The onion rings are to die for , mash with gravy excellent. Really good wine list too. However, I don't like paying for bread or the 10% Sunday surcharge which means a $100 steak becomes a $110 steak. We obviously new this before arriving and are happy to pay the price but i guess in the back of my mind i expect my steak to be equal to say Victors or better for that extra 10% and it just fell short... All in all a really good place to eat.

I recently booked a table for three at Botswana Butchers in the CBD. Despite the seasonal rush, the restaurant wasn't very busy; however, the staff seemed more focused on tasks like polishing plates than attending to customers. We found ourselves having to flag down someone every time we wanted to place an order. The food had its high points—the steak was quite satisfactory, and the beef rib was exceptional, truly the star of the meal. Unfortunately, the dessert fell short, even more so than the service, which was a letdown. As a result, I'm compelled to give the experience just 2 stars. Given the underwhelming service and the disappointing end to our meal, I don't plan on returning.
